Our herb of the week is Mullein!🌱

- calms inflammation

Many people use Mullein for respiratory issues. Some of these include sore throat, a common cold, allergies and tonsillitis.

This herb performs like an expectorant, thinning mucus and making it easier to expel from the lungs.

Mullein (verbascum thapsus) is part of the Figwort family. It originated in Europe, North Africa and Asia. It had been introduced into the US, too. It has been used in traditional medicine for over 2000 years. A more common name is the velvet plant.
