It works because your skin interprets micro-injuries from the needles as a signal to launch a full wound-healing cascade—releasing growth factors, increasing fibroblast activity, and stimulating new collagen and elastin production over the following weeks to months.

Your skin can continue remodeling for up to 3–6 months after a session (and longer in some protocols).
