✨ STARS Spotlight: Dr. Kym Middleton! ✨

Our 2026 STAR Dr. Kym Middleton recently joined Demetria Green in the studio to talk about her STARS journey, her passion for caring for children, and why she’s stepping onto the dance floor to support the mission of HEALS!

As a pediatrician, Kym sees firsthand the difference access to quality health care can make in a child’s life. Now she’s trading her scrubs for dancing shoes and raising funds to help ensure more children in our community receive the care they need.

Community partnerships make a difference.

Today, we were honored to welcome Patrick Hellen and Shakira Ellis from SouthState Bank for a tour of our HEALS clinic at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School.

We love when our community partners take a genuine interest in the communities they serve and in learning how, together, we can be agents of positive change. When businesses, nonprofits, schools, and community leaders come together around a shared purpose, our entire community is stronger.

Thank you, Patrick and Shakira, for spending time with us, learning more about our mission, and being part of the HEALS family and part of the solution!
