📣 Our PROBr Founding Research Leader community continues to grow!

We’re excited to introduce two more researchers joining our inaugural cohort, bringing expertise from India and Haiti and adding even more depth to the global research community we’re building.

🩺 Paul Israël Pétion — Haiti | Hôpital Universitaire Dr Aristide

Paul’s research interests span clinical urology, patient-centered care and community health initiatives in Haiti.

🔬 Yeshfeen Sherwani — India | Jamia Hamdard

Yeshfeen’s research interests include innate immune sensing, cGAS–STING, IFI16 inflammasome pathways and herpesvirus latency biology, including EBV and HSV-2.

💜 What does being a Founding Research Leader mean?

As members of our inaugural cohort, Paul and Yeshfeen will receive free access to PROBr’s premium researcher features, alongside opportunities to:

📣 We’re proud to officially announce our partnership with Health Innovation East 🎉🎉

Health Innovation East supports innovators developing solutions to improve health and care, and we’re partnering to help ensure the people those innovations are designed for have a voice in shaping them.

We’re now working alongside: across England, the 15 Health Innovation Networks’ programmes benefited 1 million patients in 2024/25, leveraged almost £500 million through support to innovators, and created or safeguarded more than 900 jobs.

Health Innovation East works with the NHS, universities, industry, clinicians and innovators to help turn promising health innovations into solutions that can create real-world impact.

We’ve already supported recruitment for Health Innovation East opportunities, with more being added to PROBr, including paid opportunities for members of the public to share their experiences, perspectives and feedback 🚀

That insight can help shape how new health innovations are designed, tested and ultimately used in the real world.

We supported researchers at the University of Cambridge with participant recruitment across three different areas of research:

🔬 Autoimmune disease
🔬 General health

And across all three studies, the teams reached their goals for recruiting diverse participants 🎉

One of the reasons we built PROBr was because participates in research matters.
