We are excited to announce that Dr. Stephen T. Broughton has joined our growing team!
Dr. Broughton is an Interventional Cardiologist who earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Wake Forest University, and he completed fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional/Structural Cardiology at the University of Pittsburgh.
He specializes in advanced catheter-based treatments for coronary artery disease and structural heart conditions, including high-risk PCI, TAVR, Mitral TEER, and PFO/ASD closure, providing state-of-the-art care for patients with complex heart and vascular conditions.
He relocated to the Rocket City from his home state of Arkansas with his wife, Tyler. Dr. Broughton is passionate about community outreach, mentorship, and cardiovascular disease prevention. Outside of work, he enjoys exercising, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family.
