I’m so sorry for the last minute cancellation, but mom duty calls.

My daughter and son are both not feeling well, and I don’t have anyone else to watch them, so I need to cancel Mom Circle today at so I don’t risk getting any mamas or babies sick.

I truly apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for understanding and for always supporting one another through the real-life moments of motherhood. 🫶🏻

We do still have one more Mom Circle this month on Saturday from 9–11 at Movement Massage & Breathwork, and I really hope to see you there. 💜

Pregnancy often brings a new level of awareness around what we put in and on our bodies.

While pregnancy and birth can be beautiful and exciting, it can also come with nausea, exhaustion, stress, sleep struggles, emotional overwhelm, and physical discomfort. Because medication options can be limited during pregnancy, many women begin looking for more natural ways to support their wellness.

When used properly and with good education, many essential oils are considered safe to use during pregnancy and birth. They’re commonly used to support relaxation, rest, emotional balance, discomfort, and creating a calming birth environment.

I personally used essential oils during 3 of my 4 pregnancies and births and found them incredibly supportive throughout the process.

Want to learn which oils are commonly considered safe during pregnancy, which oils to avoid, proper dilution, and ways they’re often used during pregnancy and birth?

Comment below and I’ll send you the free online class link. 💜

1 in 5 women experience maternal mental health struggles.

I know because I was one of those women.

I’m truly honored to be having this conversation on Tennessee Valley Living tomorrow for Maternal Mental Health Month. If you’re free, I’d love for you to tune in, share, or send it to a mom who may need the reminder that she’s not alone.

Motherhood changes everything. Your body, your mind, your relationships, your identity, your priorities, and the way you move through the world.

And while motherhood can be beautiful and deeply meaningful, it can also feel overwhelming, isolating, exhausting, and emotionally heavy.

1 in 5 mothers experiences maternal mental health struggles, yet many women suffer quietly while continuing to care for everyone around them. Many are dealing with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, burnout, rage, intrusive thoughts, loneliness, or emotional exhaustion while still showing up every day.

I know because I’ve lived it.

I’ve been the mom who everyone thought was doing great while internally I was struggling more than anyone realized.

I was taking care of my kids.
Showing up for people.
Managing responsibilities.
Smiling.

But inside, I was anxious, depleted, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from myself, and carrying more than my nervous system could handle.

For a long time, I thought I just needed to push through, or maybe I wasn’t really cut out to be a mom, even though I loved my kids deeply. What I actually needed was support, rest, nourishment, safe community, honesty, and space to care for myself too.

Healing didn’t happen overnight, and it wasn’t one single thing that changed everything. It was small, intentional shifts over time.

Getting outside more.
Movement.
Boundaries.
Community.
Supporting my body through nourishment.
Learning to regulate my nervous system.
Being able to speak honestly.
Feeling seen instead of judged.

And eventually, I found myself in a healthier, more grounded place.

That’s one of the reasons maternal mental health matters to me and why I care so much about having honest conversations around it and creating spaces where mothers feel safe, supported, informed, and less alone.

Because mothers deserve more than survival mode.

Today is World Maternal Mental Health Day.

If you’re struggling right now, please know that healing and thriving are possible.
