Thank you for all your beautiful comments, sharings and memories of the Arati Store. Who knew when I started this journey 46 years ago it would touch so many thousands of amazing people in so many places. Thank you for your sustained support that made this journey possible. I’m looking forward to a new journey, again in uncharted waters called “retirement” where I will have more time for the practices, my pastel painting and just to sit back and enjoy the small pleasures of life.

Radha (Anna-Lena) will continue her work as a healer and pilgrimage leader in the Wixarika indigenous tradition- work that she has been involved with for the last 25 years. https://www.traditionalshamanichealing.org/directory/anna-lena-hilton. She is not quite sure what life will be like with a retired husband!
After we closed the store other community members are now hard at work on the building to create a new venture to serve you all.

Dear Friends, close and far away, and neighbors, its been an amazing joy and honor to serve you through these 46 years. We have been in many locations over the years, starting in Oakland in 1979. We have had the best staff a business can hope for and the best customers! We closed the store on December 22 and so it’s time for both the business and me to retire. We wish you all the best and please keep in touch! A few photos from years past and present.
