ATTENTION CLIENTS!!!! Starting Monday April 28 it's road construction time😢 You will still be able to park in our parking lot by accessing the alley on Washington Ave. across from Ace Hardware. Head South down the alley by Hometown Realty.

ATTENTION VENUS SALON CUSTOMERS:
There will be street parking only until Thursday.
I resealed the parking lot this weekend. You are able to walk on it but no parking until Thursday.
3 days.... 1 57 year old hairstylist. 1 64 year old bus driver. 1 Super Blake. 1/2 compost container of weeds pulled. 2 garbage cans full of gravel blown out and hauled away. 16 bags of pothole patch. 21 5 gallon pails of seal coat (105 gallons). 2 broken fingernails. Another project ✔️ off the list. I may need a vacation 😉

We have our New name! "Venus Salon" replaces Venus Salon and Spa as we no longer have spa services. We offer hair Services only, along with facial waxing. Thank you to Crow River Signs for a job well done!

We are open at our New location! 145 1st Ave SE. Here is a peek of our beautiful finished Salon! We are excited for you to see it! Our phone number has remained the same 320-587-2447. Thank you to the crew that made my time line schedule work. Ryan Berger from Berger plumbing and Heating, Casey from Hutch Electric, Heidi and AJ from Heintz floor covering, my great friend Mark Betker Construction, my brother Milan and for my stylists that believe in me and made the move with me. I am very blessed!

A 17 year run on 47 N Main Street for Venus Salon & Spa has come to an end.
I am sitting in the window after scrubbing the floor for the last time, reminiscing. (scaring people walking by🤣)
17 years ago driving down Main Street, I saw a "For Rent" sign. Called the number, paid one month's rent to see if I could make this old building a salon.
My dad, mom, brother and I did everything we could do ourselves. My kids 5 and 8 at the time watched VHS movies and slept on the floor after school and on weekends as we were building. They're great memories that I will always cherish as my dad passed away a year later at the age of 67. I have always felt his presence with me in the salon and maybe found it when we removed the stations off the wall (and yes I painted around them last time, don't judge...) behind my station stuck to the wall was a penny dated 2005. (see photo in comments) The year we built the salon. That was my dad❤
I have wonderful memories in this building that I will take with me. (along with the penny) I know my dad would be proud and although I am sad, I am so excited and recharged for the next 17 years in my new building. I can't wait for you to see it🥰

✂️Today December 29th 2022 Marked the last day of clients at our Venus Salon & Spa Main Street location! After 17 years at this location it is a mix of emotions. We are all excited to welcome you to our new "Venus Salon" location at 145 1st Ave. SE. Hutchinson. We will officially be open on Jan. 4! Have a happy and safe New Year and we will see you next year!✂️
