We are excited to introduce Rachael Kimbrel, a Classical Homeopath in training, who is now seeing clients at The Lamb Shoppe & Wellness Center for both chronic and acute concerns.

Rachael's journey into homeopathy began nearly two decades ago while searching for answers for her daughter's ongoing health challenges. After experiencing the profound impact homeopathy had on her own family, she developed a passion for helping others discover this gentle, individualized approach to wellness.

Since then, Rachael has completed four years of intensive study through the Academy of Homeopathy Education and is currently completing her clinical training. Her approach centers on listening carefully to each person's unique story and supporting the body's natural ability to heal.

Our Little Herbalists: Plant Friends & First Aid summer series begins June 11!

Over three fun, hands-on classes, children will discover the amazing world of medicinal plants while exploring our herbal garden, creating herbal projects, and learning how plants have traditionally been used to support everyday bumps, scrapes, and skin care.

🌱 Meet three incredible plant friends:
• Plantain
• Yarrow
• Calendula

Kids will learn through storytelling, observation, nature exploration, and hands-on activities while creating their own Herbal Passport to document their discoveries.

🌿 Meet Our 2026 Herbal Interns 🌿

One of our favorite parts of each year is welcoming a new group of herbal interns to The Lamb Shoppe & Wellness Center.

Our Herbal Internship Program is designed to give students hands-on experience in herbal medicine through plant identification, harvesting, gardening, herbal preparations, educational projects, and real-world herbal learning. But even more than that—it’s about building relationship with the plants, the seasons, and the natural world around us.

This year’s interns each bring their own unique stories, experiences, and passion for herbal learning 🌱

✨ Jennifer shared how herbalism completely changed the way she sees the plants growing around her and how herbs like yarrow, tulsi, elderberry, and burdock have become staples in her home.

✨ Jurney discovered a love for herbal medicine through her own health journey and has especially connected with stinging nettle—one of her favorite spring herbs for both food and traditional herbal support.

We’re excited to learn, grow, and work alongside these amazing women this season 🌿

One of the most beautiful parts of herbalism is realizing that healing plants are often growing right outside our door.

It is always so encouraging and inspiring to see so many people interested in herbal medicine, plant wisdom, wild edibles, gardening, and reconnecting with the natural world. From longtime herbal enthusiasts to those just beginning their journey, we are grateful for every conversation, question, and shared moment throughout the day.

Thank you for spending part of your weekend with us on the farm, exploring the gardens, learning about the plants, and continuing this tradition with us year after year. Events like this remind us how meaningful community and shared learning truly are 🌱

We also want to extend a huge thank you to Doug Schmoll for sharing his herbal knowledge and passion once again—it wouldn’t be the same without him!

🌿 Ever walked past cleavers or burdock without realizing they’ve been used in herbal traditions for generations?

Cleavers is that sticky, clingy plant that grabs onto your clothes as you walk by—but herbalists have long appreciated it for traditional lymphatic and drainage support.

Burdock, often recognized by its burrs, has a rich history as both a wild edible and medicinal herb. Traditionally, it’s been used to support the skin, digestion, and overall cleansing pathways of the body.
