Thank you to our wonderful Suzanne!!
When an elderly couple visited Health-E-Quip to purchase a powered wheelchair, they were excited about the added independence it would provide. But once they realized the 65 pound chair was too heavy to safely lift into their vehicle, they faced an unexpected obstacle.
Suzanne Baca, Customer Service Representative at Health-E-Quip, took the time to understand their situation and suggested a mobility wheelchair carrier that would make transporting the chair much easier. When the couple returned with the carrier, they shared they had no family nearby to help assemble or install it.
Without hesitation, Suzanne stepped outside and spent nearly two hours in the parking lot building the carrier, installing it on their vehicle, and showing the couple exactly how to use it safely. Thanks to her kindness and dedication, they left with more than a powered wheelchair. They left with the confidence to continue living independently and enjoying everyday life together.
Suzanne's willingness to go above and beyond is a powerful example of the compassion, respect, and accountability our team members bring to those we serve every day.
