Idabel Family Practice will be closed Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3.

We will reopen on Tuesday, July 7, ready to care for you!

If you need medication refills, please request them before our closure. If you experience a medical emergency while we are away, please call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room.

☀️💧 HYDRATION CHECK! 💧☀️

This Oklahoma heat is no joke. If you’re feeling tired, dizzy, cranky, headachy, or just “off,” you may already be dehydrated.

Stay ahead of the heat:
💧 Drink water BEFORE you feel thirsty
🧂 Replace electrolytes if sweating heavily
☀️ Take breaks in the shade or AC
🚫 Don’t rely on soda, energy drinks, or coffee alone

Watch for signs of dehydration:
⚠️ Headache
⚠️ Dizziness
⚠️ Nausea
⚠️ Fatigue
⚠️ Darker urine
