Idabel Family Practice will be closed Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of Memorial Day.

Please plan ahead for medication refills, appointments, and any medical needs prior to the holiday weekend. Refill requests submitted after hours, on weekends, or during the closure will be addressed the next business day.

We will reopen Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 8:30 AM.

☀️💧 HYDRATION CHECK! 💧☀️

This Oklahoma heat is no joke. If you’re feeling tired, dizzy, cranky, headachy, or just “off,” you may already be dehydrated.

Stay ahead of the heat:
💧 Drink water BEFORE you feel thirsty
🧂 Replace electrolytes if sweating heavily
☀️ Take breaks in the shade or AC
🚫 Don’t rely on soda, energy drinks, or coffee alone

Watch for signs of dehydration:
⚠️ Headache
⚠️ Dizziness
⚠️ Nausea
⚠️ Fatigue
⚠️ Darker urine

Children, older adults, outdoor workers, and athletes are especially at risk during extreme temperatures.

After carefully driving around town today and checking road conditions, we’ve decided to remain closed for in-person visits tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28 to keep everyone safe.
