This past Saturday, law enforcement reached out twice because children needed forensic exams and no trained forensic nurse was immediately available. FERN stepped in both times because every child deserves compassionate, trauma-informed care from professionals specially trained to respond to violence and abuse.

These situations are a reminder of how critical forensic nursing services are in Eastern Idaho — and how fragile access to those services can become without community support.

FERN nurses have continued responding because the need is real and children cannot wait. But sustaining 24/7 specialized care, equipment, training, and response coverage requires funding and community partnership.

When families seek help for their children, our community should be able to say with confidence that trained care will be there.

If you believe these services matter, please help us keep them available. Sponsor, donate, or attend Sing for Survivors on June 13. Your support helps ensure children and victims of violence continue to have access to the care they deserve.

We’re so excited to finally share this with you.

On June 13th, we’re bringing our community together for a night of music, connection, and purpose — all to support survivors of assault and abuse right here in Eastern Idaho.

This isn’t just a karaoke night.

It’s a chance to:
✨ Stand with survivors
✨ Support real, local care
✨ Be part of something that truly matters

Every ticket, every sponsorship, every share helps ensure survivors receive:
– Compassionate medical care
– Advocacy and support
– A path forward after trauma

🎶 Dress up. Take the mic. Make some noise for a cause.

There are people in our community who are experiencing abuse, assault, or violence—and they deserve compassionate care, dignity, and support in one of the hardest moments of their lives.

That care is provided at no cost to them.

That’s why we’re hosting Sing for Survivors — a karaoke dinner fundraiser benefiting FERN + 16:14 Revival.

This night is about more than music and dinner.

It’s about making sure survivors in Eastern Idaho continue to have access to forensic nursing care, advocacy, recovery resources, and people who know how to help when it matters most.

But we can’t continue this work alone.

We are actively looking for sponsors, raffle donations, and community partners who want to make a real impact locally. Your support directly helps us continue caring for individuals and families after violent crimes.

Join us June 13th at Function Junction and help us keep these services available for our community.

If you’d like to sponsor, donate, or get involved, please reach out to [email protected]
