Using a daily sunscreen is vital for preventative skin care. When you skip the sunscreen, there is immediate DNA and structural damage to your skin cells.
While the short term damage includes sunburns and blisters, the negative effects of skipping SPF compound over time.
Over time, this unprotected UV exposure leads to premature aging (wrinkles, sagging skin, dark spots).
UVA rays pe*****te deep into the dermis, breaking down collagen and elastin. This will cause your skin to lose its firmness and elasticity which leads to wrinkles and fine lines. They can also trigger overproduction of melanin, which results in uneven skin tones. Spider veins can also be a result of sun damage.
With damage to your cellular DNA, your risk of skin cancer is significantly higher. Up to 80% of UV rays pe*****te clouds, so it is very important to wear that SPF every day!
