Dr. Priyanka Sharma, Professor of Medicine and a breast cancer medical oncologist at University of Kansas Medical Center, specializes in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer. Her interests reside in both clinical and translational research. As a 2019 recipient of a Mary Kay Foundation Cancer Research grant, her current focus is on conducting research to evaluate the longitudinal ctDNA to explain markers of response and acquired drug resistance to PI3K inhibitor therapy.
