Meet Dr. Jared Schumacher!

Hey everyone — I’m Dr. Schumacher, the chiropractor/owner at Independence Chiropractic. I grew up in Hays, KS, went to school at Cleveland University–KC, and after a couple years practicing in North Carolina… it felt right to come back closer to home.

I use a blend of techniques — Diversified (manual), Flexion-Distraction, Activator (instrument), and the Webster Technique for prenatal care — so I can tailor treatment to kids, athletes, busy parents, and anyone trying to feel and move better.

Outside the office, you’ll usually find me golfing, staying active, or cheering on the Chiefs, Royals, Jayhawks, and Thunder.

Whether you’re dealing with everyday pain, staying active, navigating pregnancy, or just wanting better function, my goal is to give you personalized care to get you back to living the life you love.
