I would like welcome a good friend to the Northstar family! Congrats to getting your license and I know you’re going to do big things and I am very happy to have you working with us!

“If you don’t ask, you won’t know.” An unpretentious message passed from his late father, W. Ward Manning Jr. better known as “Pops;” would later evolve to a guiding principle he would indubitably follow through his personal evolution and professional career.

Trace Lawton Manning grew up in North Carolina.

With familial roots in Weddington, Wilmington, Charlotte (its surrounding neighborhoods,) and Huntersville; Trace is no stranger to the area. Serving the community for the last 16 years in many roles with diverse responsibilities; from Enablement Business Partner, and Sales Coach to the unicorn start-up company KeepTruckin, Senior Sales Director of Verizon Connect, and former Partner of the notable Charlotte eatery and cult following behind La Paz Restaurante and Cantina, Trace ascertained the Richardson Consultative Sales, Challenger Sales, and Spin Selling Certifications. In 2010, Trace was presented with Elevate Lifestyle Magazine’s coveted “Top 30 under 30: Future Leaders of Charlotte” award.

Now a devoted husband to the equally stunning Deanna Manning, and dutiful father of Savannah Lee and Kensington Rose; In his time away from the hustle and bustle of the forever changing cityscape; Trace, an avid golfer, keen car enthusiast, family man, and passionate Carolina Panther, Charlotte Hornets, and UNC Tarheel fan, can be found relaxing outdoors, attending sporting events donning his favorite team colors, or teaching “Savvy” and “Kensie” the ins-and-outs of their toddler-dom. He and his wife practice a healthy and active lifestyle and encourage their daughters to have similar strengths to their own.

In 2020-2021 amid obstacles associated to the COVID-19 pandemic, equipped with experience in new home purchasing, rental agreements, and remodeling; Trace transitioned his efforts to obtaining his life-long goal to enter the Real-Estate Market as an advocate to potential home buyers and sellers and real estate investors.
