A new chapter for this page

Hi friends and family,

I’m gently shifting this page as I begin a new professional chapter. In August 2026, I will begin my counseling practicum at the Counseling Center, a clinical training center that offers affordable mental health counseling.

Counseling services are provided by graduate counseling interns, like me, under clinical supervision as part of our master’s-level training toward state licensure.

The Counseling Center welcomes people seeking support with stress, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, family challenges, life transitions, identity questions, and the many emotional struggles that are part of being human.

To get started, clients complete a brief phone intake request. The call takes about 10 minutes and helps the center gather basic information, the reason for counseling, availability, and household income for the sliding-scale fee. After that, clients are matched with a counseling intern. You may request me by name, though matching depends on availability and center policy.

Because of ethical boundaries, I may not be able to counsel close friends or family directly. But I would be grateful if you shared this with someone who may be looking for affordable counseling support this fall.

Appointments begin after August 29, 2026.

A small, old habit for the first morning of the month.
Three words said before the day begins.
A way of noticing the turn.

Imbolc sits right here.
Winter still holding.
Spring already insisting.

The ground tells the truth.
Daffodil tips pushing through snow.
Not loud. Not finished. Just real.

A candle lit because light matters.
A corn dolly because hands remember.
A woven cross because care is an action, not an idea.

The full Leo moon hangs bright and steady.
Not dramatic. Simply present.
A reminder that warmth returns, even when we are patient.

This season does not ask for belief.
It asks for attention.

Say the words if you want.
Pause if you need.
Notice what is beginning, quietly, anyway.

The Leo Full Moon rises like a small spotlight over the week, asking a simple but confronting question:

✨ Where have you been dimming your light to belong?

Leo is ruled by the Sun, so this lunation isn’t just about feelings, it’s about expression. It holds up a mirror to the ways we perform, over-function, or stay small to keep the peace. It also gently reveals the parts of us that are ready to be seen, celebrated, and creatively expressed.

Across from Leo is Aquarius, the sign of the collective. Together they ask us to navigate the tension between:
• my truth and our belonging
• being authentic and being acceptable
• shining honestly and performing a role

For this Full Moon, I’m working with the Strength archetype – not as dominance, but as devotion:
quiet courage, heart-led power, the willingness to stay soft and present instead of armoring up.

A few Moonlit Mirrors questions to sit with under this moon:

• What part of me is ready to be seen or reclaimed?
