Yesterday CI AHEC had the pleasure of supporting the UINDY Wellness for the Pack event and the co-sponsored free vaccination clinic with our School of Nursing Community Health class and the Indiana Immunizatiin Coalition - Special thanks to our colleagues from the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction who also coached students on guiding community members to mental health and wellness resources like 988 and 211.

What a great experience for these students- invaluable lessons on collaboration, community health, and patient care. When we work together, the sky is the limit!

🎨✨ Creativity Meets Healthcare! ✨🎨

Today at Health Careers Camp, our students explored the world of Art Therapy and discovered how creativity can be used to support mental health, healing, and self-expression. They learned about careers in art therapy while creating some truly amazing artwork of their own!

We are so proud of their creativity, engagement, and willingness to explore the many different paths within healthcare. The future is bright for these future healthcare professionals! 💙🩺🎨
