Midwest Trauma-Informed Training Center MTITC trains and empowers professionals to make trauma-informed services the standard of care.

In response to community need, HCET developed the Midwest Trauma-Informed Training Center (MTITC). MTITC makes in-person and virtual training, resources, and technical assistance in trauma-informed care available to health care and human service providers. MTITC aims to transfom the landscape of health and human services by equipping professionals with the knowledge, skills, and support to provide trauma-informed care as standard practice; fostering healing, resilience, and well-being for individuals, systems, and communities.

We are excited to share that we have received another year of support for Health Care Education and Training (HCET)’s Indianapolis Trauma Informed Care Collaborative from the The Indianapolis Foundation!

The HCET ITICC brings together hospitals and health systems, primary care clinics, perinatal and maternal health, HIV/STI and public health, community-based organizations, mental health providers, and other across the city to build the foundation for trauma informed care as the citywide standard for care.

We are lucky to get to do this work together with all of our Collaborative partners and Collective Futures, LLC and as apart of HCET’s Midwest Trauma-Informed Training Center ❤️

Honored to be part of this panel at the 10th Annual Perinatal Substance Use Conference.

HCET's Midwest Trauma-Informed Training Center celebrated the of launch the Indianapolis Trauma-Informed Care Collaborative. Through the generous support of The Indianapolis Foundation we brought together 29 individuals representing over 18 organizations committed to making trauma-informed care standard across central Indiana.
