Nothing beats a day filled with sunshine, laughter and a little bit of foam! ☀️🫧

Last week our East Chicago campus had an amazing time celebrating Damar Games, and the foam machine was definitely the star of the show.

From jumping and dancing through a sea of foam to racing down the inflatable water slide, the day was packed with big smiles and good ole summertime fun!

Our East Chicago team has been busy in the city!

Last month, the team joined community members from across the city for the annual Team Up & Clean Up Community Day hosted by the East Chicago Public Works Department.

Staff spent the day helping beautify neighborhoods and public spaces through litter clean up, curb painting, flower bed maintenance and other projects designed to make East Chicago an even better place to live, work and play.

We are proud to be part of a community that comes together to create positive change and demonstrate pride in the places we call home. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a difference.

We were honored to welcome newly appointed Indiana Department of Child Services Director Jennifer Dorfmeyer to Damar’s Indianapolis campus recently.

During her visit, Director Dorfmeyer toured our campus, learned more about the services and supports Damar provides, and met with CEO Dr. Jim Dalton and members of our leadership team to discuss the needs of children, families and communities across Indiana.

We appreciate the opportunity to share our work and engage in meaningful conversations about how organizations and agencies can work together to create brighter futures for those we serve.
