The Tina Marie Arens Foundation

The Tina Marie Arens Foundation “Problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them.” -- Albert Einstein

Tina Marie died at the young age of 30 after living a life of desperation, alone and unnoticed -- but not before she passed the legacy of her addiction on to another generation. The charitable foundation that bears her name is dedicated to breaking the cycle of intergenerational addiction by helping to prevent this disease from being passed from single mothers to - and through - their children and

on to future generations. To further the goals of breaking this destructive cycle, The Tina Marie Arens Foundation provides free counseling, education and financial assistance for single mothers entering addiction rehabilitation programs, giving them a chance to fight against addiction and its threat to the health and welfare of their children. Though our affiliations with child-centered agencies, we also seek to help repair the psychological damage done to the children of addicted mothers, thus promoting their physical and mental development and strengthening of their families. As an Indiana-registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, The Tina Marie Arens Foundation also seeks to educate the community about the issues of alcoholism and addiction and its impact on children and families through outreach and consultation programs. These programs are designed to contribute to a significant reduction in the legacy affects of addiction and to help break the intergenerational cycle of substance abuse.
