Hello, Friends...

Those of you in Indiana are already aware of the fact that we are experiencing historical flooding across areas of Indiana, with waters continuing to rise as we speak. Whether you are in Indiana or tuning in from another country...please...this message is for YOU. Please join me remotely this Sunday afternoon, August 16th at 2 p.m. EST for a special remote healing session to help all of those affected by this dangerous situation. Families have lost their entire homes, roads are collapsing and workers are out trying to combat the circumstances to the best of their ability. Whatever the modality of healing you prefer - Reiki, prayer, meditation, or something unique to your spiritual evolution - please join in to lift up the safety of all of these people, the peace to deal with these difficult emotions, and strength to keep moving forward to salvage and rebuild all that's been damaged and lost.

If you are unable to join in at that time, please give your love, peace and prayers whenever you are able. Good intentions will always find their way through the chaos of a storm.

𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫

Hello, Friends!!

During some quiet time I was enjoying a few days ago, I was being incredibly grateful for one of the many positive effects of giving and receiving Reiki. When you engage in Reiki, you benefit from the Divine energy that is involved whether you are a practitioner or the one receiving a treatment. The positive attributes in life are enhanced in a deeper, more personal manner - love, forgiveness, understanding, joy, peace, openness, etc. For my personal journey, gratefulness tends to take deeper dives than simply appreciating a moment, and it keeps my awareness open to the connection we all share in "unseen" ways. For example, the sunflowers in this picture crossed my path at an unexpected time for an unexpected reason. Sunflowers are by far one of my most favorite flowers of all time. I was so grateful for the beauty and joy they brought to my spirit, but it went deeper than that. As I studied and cared for them, the divine awareness that Reiki has brought to my life was rolling full speed ahead. I was grateful for the sender, for the time and care it took to pick them. I was grateful for the caretaker(s) of the place where they grew, the hands that harvested them, the driver that delivered them, and the florist that arranged them. I was grateful to have a table for which to place them, sunlight through the windows and water to feed them. Are you getting the hint? They're not just beautiful, they represent the many hands of a greater connectedness that entwine us as humanity.

Our daily walks can be just as inspired if we remember to keep our eyes open to a higher perspective. The angry person we pass in public is angry because of something...we don't know what. The happy person we pass could be genuinely happy or really good at wearing a mask...we don't know which. The person deep in thought may be making the biggest decision of their lives in that very moment, contemplating the vastness of the universe or wondering if they remembered everything on their grocery list...we may never know. The point is that we all have a lot more going on inside than others will ever know on a surface level. There are many of us that don't even tell our loved ones what's going on in our hearts and minds. But we are all connected energetically, no matter our state of mind, busyness of schedule, physical ability or spiritual belief. We won't always mesh with everyone we meet, and we may not always immediately understand the lessons involved with all of our encounters and relationships. But don't let that deter you from rising to a higher perspective and remembering that this life is short. Be kind. Be open. Be willing to learn about others. Everyone and every situation are teachers, including yourself to others. You never know when your kind smile might be the moment of peace someone else secretly craves...

Hello, Friends!!

So many of us are friends with, related to, married to, or ARE emergency responders. These are high stress and too often thankless positions that so many people dedicate their lives to... To give back to our loved ones that sacrifice so much of their mental, physical, and spiritual health to keep us safe, all emergency responders (all law enforcement personnel, firefighters, and emergency medical services) will receive a 10% discount on all services from the Reiki Center of Indiana (classes excluded) for the month of August. This a judgement free, confidential, safe atmosphere to relax, receive Reiki treatments and talk about those things for which we often don't have the words. As promised, we're getting back on track with classes now that everything is set for the office transition. These are just a few of the offerings coming in the near future. More and different opportunities are on the way, as well as a website! Thank you for your patience as changes are navigated. Students will receive the appropriate attunement (now Placement), one power symbol and will be certified in the First Degree of the Usui/Holy Fire III System of Healing upon completion.
Cost: $180

𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐤𝐢 𝐈𝐈 (𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥/𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠): Students will receive the appropriate attunement (now Placement), two additional power symbols, and will learn the practice of distant healing. Students will be certified as a Reiki Practitioner (Second Degree) upon completion.
Cost: $180

𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠): Students will be certified as a Reiki Master upon completion of this class, with the ability to attune and ignite others for the use of Reiki practice. This is a deeply healing experience. Prerequisite: Attendees must have completed Reiki I, Reiki II and practiced Reiki II for at least 6 months prior to class.

Due to increasing service fees, an additional 3% will be charged for credit/debit transactions. (This is in no way profit and allows me to refrain from raising prices.)

Hello, Friends!!

I hope you are all doing well in the midst of all the transition so many of you are enduring. It seems like everyone is really going through a lot with big life changes and personal reflections and growth. Stay strong, stay focused. Even good change can be difficult to navigate, but it's happening to guide you into new chapters. Trust the process...

The time is growing closer for me to move to a new office, and the legalities have all been squared away. I will take my last clients in my current location on Wednesday, July 1st, day hours, only - no evening appointments available. I will start taking appointments in the new office on Sunday, July 5th. Once you turn onto Statesmen Drive from 82nd Street, take the first immediate left once you get past the median of flowers. The office is at the front of the complex with the front door facing 82nd Street. Statesmen Drive is located between the major roads of Keystone and Allisonville and has a dedicated stoplight for easy access. For my physically challenged Dear Ones, this office is on the first floor and is close to the main entrance. Photos will be posted as soon as the new signage is in place.

I look forward to wrapping up an incredible chapter in the current location and starting a brand new one with many exciting things to come. Thank you for everything we've shared over these past few years, and I can't wait to see you in this new beginning!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞

Hello, Friends!!

Imagine for just a moment, a dinner date with your absolute, most favorite person in the world. You're going to meet to share wonderful food and catch up on all the things you haven't been able to share in a while. They have just arrived! How do you greet them? Do you hug? Do kiss? Do you shake hands?

How do you position yourselves at the dinner table? Are you sitting next to each other? Across from each other?

What do you talk about? The general "life" stuff? The serious stuff? The emotional stuff? Is this someone you can share ANYTHING with, or do you wear a mask or avoid certain subjects?

Is this a quiet place? A busy restaurant? A party atmosphere that allows dinner and dancing?

Can you see your favorite person in the situation you would enjoy in this moment? Can you feel your excitement and joy? Ok...now, let's alter this picture just a little... Are you ready?

In this perfect scenario you've created, change your favorite person to YOU. The You that you haven't talked to in a while (maybe even decades). The You that's experienced trauma and hides from everyone else. The You you don't necessarily share with others. The You that feels "inauthentic" to even yourself because you've lost touch with them.

How does this change the picture of your dinner date? How does it change the way you feel? Are you shy or unsure about greeting You? How does that change how you talk to You? How would you prefer to sit at the table with You? How does it change the emotions or excitement behind the date?

If you caught yourself pulling back the reigns a little when your scenario changed, it's time to gently and lovingly get to know YOU again. It's time to show as much love to yourself as you would your favorite person...and every other person in your life that you regard higher than yourself. I don't say this with the implication that you're better than anyone else. I say this with absolute conviction that you are just as worthy as receiving the love that you give others.

Reiki can gently and lovingly help you work through the layers of insecurity, trauma, physical exhaustion, spiritual uncertainty, and all the emotions and changes that come with giving yourself the same loving attention that you give to others. Reiki is a journey that is personal for each individual, just as every relationship you have is personal and defined with their own beautiful characteristics.

If you do nothing else today, please look in a mirror...a good, long, hard look...and say, "I am worthy." For some of you, I know that's going to feel nearly impossible...but do it. And then do it again with a little more conviction. And then a little more... Because you ARE worthy. You ARE loved. You ARE a very special piece of the bigger puzzle. You DO have a special purpose for being here. You DO have a story to share. Find yourself...find that part of you that's willing to grow, heal and then share your journey with others to inspire THEIR journeys. Let me assure you that many of you have been an inspiration on my journey...and still are!

Hello, Friends!!

Don't forget to take a break from those screens and look up occasionally... You never know what beauty and inspiration you'll find right in front of you!

I just wanted to give you a quick class update for the month of May. I'm stalling on posting any further classes for June because there's a great possibility the office will be moving to a new location that month. I will be getting word very soon from the wonderful gentleman who's in charge of the operation and will get any information passed along to you just as soon as I know anything and can make a solid plan. Until then, we just continue to take life one day at a time...breathing each day, going with the flow and learning from every thought, project and interaction...

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

Hello, Friends!!

Thank you...thank you for sharing your stories of transitions, your thoughts on life changes, and deep, insightful theories on the spiritual significance of all life is presenting in this moment. For those of you that might be struggling with "the unknown" with all that is going on, please remember to take a breath and remember that every "unknown" is simply a new beginning, a new concept to experience, a gift for you to unwrap... Personal changes on a physical, mental and spiritual level take time, and the goal is not to get to the finish line as quickly as possible. There is much to learn from every moment of the journey, and what seems like the smallest of details might bring the greatest of revelations.

The new life that comes with spring is an incredible inspiration... It's always reaching for the light, even when having to wade through what's left of an earlier time. That older "stuff" is evidence of previous growth, and then protection during harsher moments. Death brings rebirth, and rebirth means you can be something bigger and greater than you were last season.

Do not fear change. Do not fear the "unknown." You do not have to have all the answers. Allow yourself to discover them like the treasures they are.

Never stop reaching for the light. Never doubt your importance on this journey. Never doubt that you are experiencing exactly what you need to be, exactly in this moment.
