What do you have to gain?

Maybe it’s trusting yourself around food again.

Maybe it’s having more space for all the things that got pushed to the side while food and body thoughts were taking up so much room.

💛 Free to Nourish is a 20-week program for women who are ready to step away from dieting, food guilt, and move toward a more peaceful relationship with food and themselves.

🗓️Enrollment closes July 10th.

Gentle nutrition isn’t about finding the “perfect” way to eat. It’s about learning what helps you feel your best while leaving room for real life.

Some days that looks like adding vegetables. Some days it looks like ordering pizza with friends. Most days it’s a little bit of both. 🍕🥗

When nutrition is guided by flexibility, curiosity, and self-care (not fear) it becomes something you can actually sustain.

What’s one thing you’ve learned to do differently since stepping away from diet culture? 👇🏼

Schools see kids every day. Which means they often notice when something’s off. 👀

In this week’s episode, we sit down with CCN therapist and former school counselor Michelle Butler, LCSW, to talk about the role schools actually play in supporting student mental health. From connecting families to resources to being another safe adult in a student’s corner, school counselors are often a key part of a student’s support system.

We also talk about how school environments can shape body image and eating disorder risk — and how humor, joy, and real connection can make schools safer places for kids to grow. ✨

If you’ve ever been weighed for something that had nothing to do with your weight… this one’s for you.

Being told to “just lose weight” before anyone asks better questions?
That’s medical weight stigma.

🎙️On this week’s episode, Farah Myers, FNP, DipACLM talks about what weight-neutral care can actually look like — like asking consent before weighing, not defaulting to BMI, and building trust before diving into sensitive topics.

💛 During Eating Disorder Awareness Week, it’s especially important to remind that eating disorders don’t only exist in thin bodies — and weight-centric care delays diagnosis.

Is weight stigma really that harmful?

It’s Eating Disorder Awareness Week 💛 so let’s talk about it.

When we say weight stigma is harmful, we mean:

• ~60% higher risk of death after experiencing weight discrimination — even controlling for BMI
• Higher rates of depression + anxiety
• ED diagnoses delayed ~9 months in people previously labeled overweight/obese
• Less than 6% of people with EDs are underweight

Weight stigma isn’t just “bias.”
It changes medical decisions.
It delays care.

Eating disorders don’t only exist in thin bodies. And “just lose weight” isn’t a treatment plan.

We unpack all of this with Farah Myers, FNP on the podcast this week 🎙️

Not every conflict is about what was said — often it’s about whether we felt heard, safe, and understood. 🧠💬

In this episode, we sit down with couples therapist Sara Blacklidge, LPCC, to talk about what actually helps communication work:

• how reflective listening can completely shift a conversation
• why emotional regulation matters more than “saying it perfectly”
• and the powerful shift from focusing on intent to focusing on impact

Whether you’re navigating conflict, trying to express a need, or simply want healthier relationship patterns, this conversation offers practical tools you can start using today. 🤝✨

GLP-1 medications are being prescribed in healthcare systems that rarely screen for eating disorders, even though more than 90% of people with EDs are not underweight.

👉🏼That means many people struggling with restriction, binge-restrict cycles, food preoccupation, or body image distress may be labeled “good candidates” without a full picture of risk.

The eating disorder community cannot be an afterthought in the GLP-1 conversation.

We need:

• routine ED screening before prescribing
•how food noise language can mask disordered eating symptoms
• recognition that EDs happen in bodies of all sizes
• real informed consent — not just marketing language

🗣️ This isn’t about whether these medications should exist.

It’s about whether people are being properly assessed and protected. 🫶🏻

🎙️ We break this down in this week’s episode of Stop, Collaborate, and Listen.
