We love to highlight examples of Medxcel's team members helping others in need - and sometimes, that may be a four-legged friend!

In the early hours of his shift at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola, Ron B., Powerplant Operator, heard unexpected sounds coming from the pit of a cooling tower under demolition. Upon further investigation, he found that a small, very frightened dog had fallen in and was unable to escape. Ron grabbed a ladder and quickly removed the animal, who was unhurt.

Care and concern for all creatures, human or animal, is an important aspect of the work done at the hospital. Thank you, Ron, for your heart and eagerness to serve others. 🐶🫶

We love to highlight examples of Medxcel's team members helping others in need. Josh J., Maintenance Mechanic, was presented the Ascension St. John Nowata's first Being Exceptional Everyday (BEE) award for a recent act of kindness.

Josh was nominated by a patient returning home after an extended hospital stay. Knowing the patient faced a difficult transition, Josh went above and beyond his job duties, clearing the snow from the patient's driveway and porch to ensure the family could enter their home safely.
