And outside of work?

What needs to happen before a can move its arm? 🦾

For a humanoid robot arm to move with precision, numerous components need to work together reliably. Actuators and their motors play a key role, with magnets being essential components within these motors.

This is exactly where IFSYS becomes part of the value chain: We develop feeding solutions for components that are later used, among other applications, in the actuators of humanoid robotic systems. 💪🏼

Not every component can be handled with a conventional feeding solution. Different geometries, materials and frequent product changes place high demands on automation.

That’s exactly what the IFlexRing was designed for.

The system separates components of different shapes, sizes and characteristics, inspects them directly during the feeding process and automatically rejects defective parts. At its core is a compact, rotating glass plate which, combined with intelligent image processing, creates a clear camera image. Based on this image, a SCARA or multi-axis robot precisely detects the position, orientation and type of each component. 💡

Depending on the application, various feeding systems are available, including inner and outer spiral conveyors, step feeders and Vibroliners. This allows a wide range of components to be processed flexibly while enabling fast product changeovers.
