Chapter 1: Before the Business - Us
This partnership became the foundation to build something honest. We were able to grow together, hold each other through transitional change, and choose individual alignment, learning safety in partnership.
Cody & I met when I was 20. We were both working for a mortgage company. It was my first day, and he came to say hi to the new girl. Everything, my whole world, time and space, truly stopped when I met his eyes. We both felt it. I was insecure and socially awkward, and he was very patient.
We dated on and off for a couple of years, with plenty of circumstances trying to keep us apart. Finally, we were both ready to accept that we were truly meant to be together. That was when we decided it was us against the world.
Soon after, we decided to start our family. We were pregnant with a little girl. We moved into our first apartment together and 9 days later she decided to come 3 weeks early! We had our first baby, our little girl, Abigail.

Cleanse in Truth was never just a name.
It was born from the belief in walking in your truth — honoring authenticity, alignment, and inner wisdom. That inspiration became the foundation of my original work, a space devoted to healing from the inside out.
Over time, the work deepened.
The space expanded.
The vision asked for more room to breathe.
Today, I’m honored to share that Cleanse in Truth has evolved into The Enlightened Skincare Clinic.
This clinic is not a rebrand — it’s an embodiment.
A physical sanctuary for skin, nervous system, and energy to return to balance.

It now lives in a space that can hold it fully.
