A huge thank you to Delta Dental of Kansas for providing dental kits for our SEKA program again this year!

These kits may seem small, but they make a big difference. Our SEKA staff use them throughout the year while working with kids across Southeast Kansas, helping start conversations about healthy habits and making dental care a little more fun and approachable.

We're grateful to have resources like these to put directly into the hands of the children we serve. Having a toothbrush, toothpaste, and other dental supplies on hand helps reinforce the importance of taking care of their smiles every day.

Thank you, , for continuing to support the health and well-being of kids in our communities. We appreciate your partnership and the impact these kits have year after year!

Family Safety Night brought together dozens of organizations with one shared goal: helping families know where to turn when they need support.

Throughout the evening, our team shared Zero Reasons Why Allen County resources focused on youth mental health, distributed free Narcan kits and safe medication disposal bags through our Targeted Capacity Expansion grant, and connected community members with local services available right here in Allen County.

Access to information can make a difference long before a crisis happens, and events like this help put those resources directly into the hands of families. We're grateful to Allen County Multi-Agency Team-ACMAT (ACMAT) for creating an opportunity for so many organizations to connect with the community in one place.

If you could smash one negative message you've heard about yourself, what would it be?

"You're not good enough."
"You'll never fit in."
"No one understands."
"Just get over it."

Too many young people carry these words around every day.

At Smash the Stigma, we're taking those messages and putting them where they belong on a vehicle that's about to be demolished.

This event gives our community a chance to stand up against the stigma surrounding mental health and remind young people that those negative labels don't define who they are.

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Come take a swing and help us send a message that Allen County chooses support, understanding, and hope.

May was a month full of creativity, learning, and big dreams for our Uniontown SEKA group.

From basket weaving and creating Mother's Day flowers filled with kind words to using art as a healthy coping skill through personalized door-letter crafts, our participants explored new ways to express themselves.

They also got the chance to think about their futures by designing logos for places they would love to work someday. We love watching these kids build confidence, develop life skills, and dream about all the possibilities ahead of them.
