What we do:
We provide free dental care for children in impoverished communities around the world. With a growing throng of dedicated volunteers, Dental Care for Children has spearheaded free dental clinics in Haiti, Mexico and Southern California and helped launched clinics in Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Uganda and Morocco. nited States. How we do it:
Each year we make about 12 trips to these locations with local volunteers, dentists and USC dental students to set up free dental clinics for the children in these communities. Since the organization was founded 20 years ago, Dental Care for Children has helped over 15,000 children and provided over $7.5 million dollars worth of free dental care. This past year alone, we were able to help almost 1,000 patients and provide $530,000 worth of free services - the best year yet for our organization!
