Last week we teamed up with Elsewhere Book Club in Seattle for a night about everything that comes before becoming a mom.

People talked about pregnancy, about how relationships shift, and about something rarely said out loud: once you’re a mom, who’s looking after the mom?

Seeing everyone’s answers, the doubts and the hopes, it got to us.

A lot of families don‘t realize postpartum doula support can be covered by insurance, or by you or your partner’s employer benefits, so expert care through the fourth trimester can cost you little to nothing.

We‘re in-network with major insurers like Kaiser, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, and Anthem, and our support is often reimbursable through benefits like Carrot, Maven and Progyny, plus HSA/FSA.
