More than 300 members of Long Island and NYC’s finest and their families joined us for a day on the farm on Sunday as Pal-O-Mine, along with our partners at Living Blue Apparell, hosted our Law Enforcement Family Fun Day, a free event honoring the service and sacrifice of the brave and dedicated men and women who keep us all safe. We are grateful to the day’s participants and sponsors who made this special event possible, including the NYPD Equestrian Club, Slick Horns Horsemanship, Suffolk County Police Department Law Enforcement Explorers, New York Life, Bulovas Restorations, Davis & Ferber LLP, Southold Town PBA, the Suffolk County PBA, the MTA PBA, the Passaro Family, Messenger Papers, Chelsea Carol, NY BBQ Brigade, Starbucks, Legislators Samuel Gonzalez and Leslie Kennedy, Assembly Member Kwani B. Thank you to the Nancy Friday Foundation for once again supporting Pal-O-Mine with a generous $6,000 donation to our Herd Care and Retired Horses Fund. Their gift is helping cover expenses for some of our retired horses, ensuring they continue to receive the loving care they deserve. The foundation also supports our ongoing care of our herd that is changing lives everyday by helping pay for their hay, supplements, shavings and medical care.

At Pal-O-Mine, our commitment to our horses doesn't end when their work is done. After years of helping transform lives, they enjoy peaceful retirement in serene pastures where they continue to receive quality veterinary care, farrier visits and everything they need to stay healthy and happy. The latest session of Pal-O-Mine Equestrian’s 2Gether Program for individuals with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers is off to a wonderful start! We loved welcoming participants back to the farm for a new season of connection, comfort and relaxation with our horses and miniature horses.
