Thank you to our friends at the Suffolk County American Legion for hosting a spectacular Murder Mystery Dinner fundraiser for us in March that raised $4,900! Second Vice Chair Pat Enright said, “Pal-O-Mine is much more than an equestrian center. It is a beacon of hope and healing to all those who experience trauma; physical, emotional and mental challenges; and every other roadblock that life presents. The horses, programs, volunteers and trained professionals that transform and build up fragile lives devote themselves selflessly to humanity in its purest form.” The dinner was so much fun that Pal-O-Mine is planning a similar event on our farm next year, with a fun Yellowstone theme! Summer is upon us, which means it’s time to sign up for your biweekly bouquet! Interns in Pal-O-Mine’s J-STEP vocational program put their hands and hearts into growing these beautiful flowers for all to enjoy. The spring flower farm CSA subscription is sold out, but you can still purchase flowers for summer and fall, with all proceeds benefiting the J-STEP program.
