I really love finding a local yoga studio when I travel, and this place was a gem !
Tucked away in the beautiful sea side town of Carmel, the vibe was serene and peaceful. I joined the Sacred Sunday practice and it was exactly what I needed! 🩵

What a difference a year can make. A year ago today I was at a mental health crisis center because I hadn’t slept more than 3-4 hours in weeks. I thought I was irrevocably broken. I wasn’t. But I had chronic insomnia. The journey through this was undoubtedly one of the hardest ones I’ve ever taken, and the most profound as well. It is a vulnerable and real story I am now ready to share with you.
This year, I am now coaching people through the same struggle. Like I said, what a difference a year can make.

“I dim, I dim I have no doubt if someone blew I would go out…I did not. I must be brighter than I thought.” Carol Lynn Pearson

You are. We are. The light inside of us is like a pilot light, it is always there just waiting to be accessed. Unhealed trauma can break our connection to our bodies, our minds, ourselves and ultimately our Source/our inner light. This light may dim, if it is really sh*tty weather the storm may blow it out. But it is still there. The infinite light within us will always reignite. The light always returns. It is the essence of our very souls and it is inextinguishable. This world cannot consume it. Stay lit. 🙏🏼🕯
