I made these tonight for my sweet nephew's going away party. They were great with burgers! I grilled them but will bake some soon too. I recommend you buy the packet and mix some ranch dressing yourself instead of going with the glue-y, gelatinous, bottled stuff. Make it extra thick and rich and sub 1/4 cup of the milk with sour cream or Mexican crema.

No longer do you have to choose between pickles and fries.

Fall hits and everyone's all "Pumpkins!!!!!!" And I'm over here all "Peanuts!!!!!!"

Cajun Boiled Peanuts
3-5 lbs raw peanuts
2 gallons water
1 3/4 cup powdered crab boil (salted, NOT the mesh baggy)
2 bay leaves
2 tsp basil
2 tsp garlic powder
2 Tblsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp white pepper

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and boil, covered, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Leave peanuts in water until cool for best flavor.

Cuppa Cobbler tonight. Cuppa self-rising flour, cuppa sugar, cuppa milk. Mix. Melt 1 stick of butter in a 13x9 pan, pour in a large, undrained can of fruit (29oz), and pour the cuppas over it. Bake at 375* for 40-45min.
