We have some wonderful news! The STAR Center has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging to support our Music Therapy program.

Music has the power to connect, inspire and create meaningful moments. This grant will help us continue providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities to experience the many benefits of music therapy.

🧸 Save the date for our Middle Tennessee Assistive Technology Toy Adaptation Event!

Join The STAR Center in Nashville on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for an opportunity to learn how adapting toys can make play more accessible for children with differing abilities.

Families can enjoy educational sessions, pick up previously adapted toys, and bring their own toys to be adapted. It's a wonderful opportunity to explore how assistive technology can help children engage in play in ways that work for them.
