Excellence in healthcare is not only measured by the care provided, but by the lives transformed, communities strengthened, and opportunities created for generations to come. Dr. Jasmin Owens Chapman represents that standard of excellence, and her extraordinary contributions have left an undeniable mark on healthcare throughout the State of Mississippi.

Dr. Chapman’s impact cannot be measured simply by titles, years of service, or professional accomplishments. Her legacy can be seen in the patients who received care, families who found hope, communities that gained access to essential health services, and healthcare professionals who were inspired by her leadership and example.

Her dedication to community health has been especially meaningful to Mississippi, where access to quality healthcare remains critical in many underserved and vulnerable communities. Through her leadership, advocacy, compassion, and unwavering commitment to service, Dr. Chapman has demonstrated what it truly means to make healthcare a mission rather than simply a profession.

Being honored with the 2026 National Association of Community Health Centers Lifetime Achievement Award is a tremendous and well-deserved recognition.
