Parents and guardians are often the strongest advocates in a person's life.

Navigating disability services can sometimes feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone.

CAP works alongside families by providing information, guidance, and support throughout the VR process.

We're here to help you better understand available services and resources.

Supporting families is part of our mission.

July is Disability Pride Month, a time to celebrate the strength, diversity, and contributions of people with disabilities.

Disability Pride Month encourages us to promote accessibility, inclusion, and equal opportunities for everyone. It's also a reminder that every person deserves to be valued, respected, and empowered.

The Disability Pride Flag represents the diversity of the disability community:
โค๏ธ Red โ€“ Physical disabilities
๐Ÿ’› Gold โ€“ Neurodiversity
๐Ÿค White โ€“ Invisible and undiagnosed disabilities
๐Ÿ’™ Blue โ€“ Psychiatric disabilities and mental health disabilities
๐Ÿ’š Green โ€“ Sensory disabilities
The black background honors those who have lost their lives due to ableism, violence, neglect, or illness, while the diagonal stripes symbolize breaking through barriers and moving forward together.

This month, let's celebrate the unique experiences, talents, and voices of the disabled community while continuing to build a world where everyone has the opportunity to connect, belong, and achieve.

Happy Disability Pride Month!

On July 26, we recognize the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a landmark civil rights law that was signed in 1990 to prohibit discrimination against individuals with disabilities.

The ADA helps ensure equal access and opportunity in employment, education, transportation, public spaces, and many other areas of everyday life. More than three decades later, it continues to shape more inclusive communities where people with disabilities can live, work, and participate fully.

Today, we celebrate the impact of the ADA and reaffirm our commitment to inclusion, equity, and access for all.
