The best decision I ever made was to be quiet. I have nothing to prove. I'm not convincing anyone that l' m a great person.
I'm not fixing what I didn't break.
I'm not fighting for anyone to see my worth. Whatever you do is on you. Just hope you don't regret it.
As for me, l moved forward, free and at peace. And it’s all good in the hood!

It leaves you questioning everything you thought you knew about love, loyalty, and connection. It's not just the act that haunts you, but the thought that you never saw it coming from the person you thought would never hurt you.

The truth is, you're going to meet some ugly people, as you move through life. People who pull on every loose thread, then complain about your unraveling. People who beg for your absolute everything, hoping to fill the emptiness within themselves. People who bring their storms into your world, then leave you with the ruins. You're going to meet a few who rearrange you. People who try and turn down the same music which drew them to you in the first place. People who promise to guard the most tender parts of your heart will become the people you need guarding from. People who will blame their self-inflicted wounds on you. People who cannot swim will dive into your waters and wonder why they're drowning. People who prove that the prettiest things may also be poisonous. The truth is, you're going to meet some people, with souls so polluted, their entire purpose for entering your life will be to remind you that yours is worth protecting.
