At A New Way Healthcare, we believe exceptional healthcare starts with an exceptional team.

Our team is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and genuinely committed to the people we care for. We take the time to listen, understand the whole person, answer questions, and make sure every patient feels heard and supported.

We’re proud of the experience and dedication each member of our team brings every day—but what makes us truly special is the way we work together. 🤝

Because great healthcare isn’t just about treating a condition. It’s about building relationships, earning trust, and making sure you never feel like just another number.

Be seen. Feel heard.
That’s the A New Way Healthcare difference.

🥗 Healthy eating doesn’t have to mean dieting.

Eating well isn’t about restrictive rules, eliminating everything you love, or constantly feeling like you’re “on a diet.” It’s about creating healthy, sustainable habits that fit into your real life.

Think more whole foods, balanced meals, mindful choices, and flexibility—not perfection.

Your health journey should be something you can actually live with, not a diet you can’t wait to finish. ❤️

At A New Way Healthcare, we believe your health plan should be personalized to you and your goals.

Be seen. Feel heard. Live healthier.

Most people think of hormones as something that only matters during puberty, pregnancy, or menopause. But your hormonal system is dynamic. It responds to your environment constantly, including the temperature outside. Summer in Florida, with its relentless heat and humidity, is actually a meaningful hormonal stressor. Here’s some good-to-know information so you’ll feel prepared:

For Women
Heat worsens hot flashes for women in perimenopause and menopause- that’s pretty obvious.
But even younger women can find that summer heat affects their cycle. High heat raises cortisol (your primary stress hormone), which in turn can affect estrogen and progesterone, leading to irregular cycles, worsened PMS, mood changes, and disrupted sleep.

Thyroid function is also
temperature-sensitive. If you’ve been feeling more fatigued, foggy, or emotionally flat this summer, it’s worth checking in rather than assuming it’s “just the heat.”
For Men
Testosterone production is temperature-sensitive by design.
This is why the te**es are located outside the body. Sustained heat exposure, especially combined with poor sleep and chronic stress, measurably reduces testosterone levels. The symptoms — fatigue, lower motivation, reduced libido, difficulty building muscle - can be subtle but real.
Like we mention above, high temperatures increase cortisol, which directly competes with testosterone. If you’re working in outdoor heat, exercising hard in the summer, and not sleeping well, your hormone levels may not be optimal and worth getting checked out!

What You Can Do
For both men and women, the fundamentals apply: prioritize sleep (the “master reset” for hormonal balance), manage stress actively (this means moments of downtime and self-care every single day), cool down and stay well-hydrated to support adrenal function, and eat enough protein and healthy fats because these are literally the building blocks of hormone production.
If you’ve been feeling “off” this summer and can’t put your finger on why, let’s run some labs and take a real look. That’s what we’re here for!

Here’s to happy hormones!
