It also helps build their immune system, supports brain development, and creates comfort through connection and closeness.

Breastfeeding can support postpartum healing and bonding while giving your body little hormonal reminders that you’re doing something powerful, even on the exhausting days.

A good latch is important, but so is support.
Feeding journeys are not meant to be walked alone.

We hold space for the military families, mothers, and babies who carry both love and sacrifice in ways the world rarely slows down long enough to notice.

To the moms feeding their babies through deployments, grief, homecomings, long nights, and quiet strength: we see you.

May today be filled with remembrance, gratitude, and gentle moments with the ones you love most. 🌿

This weekend, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Their sacrifice made space for quiet mornings, backyard laughter, sleepy baby cuddles, and the freedom to nurture our families in peace.

To all the military and veteran families in our community: we see you, we thank you, and we hold space for both pride and grief this weekend. 🤍

If you’re traveling, hosting family, cluster feeding through the cookout, or nursing your baby between fireworks and folded lawn chairs, remember this too:

You do not have to “keep up” this weekend.
Feed your baby. Drink your water. Have a hot dog.
Rest when you can.
That is enough.

You made it through another week of cluster feeds, reheated coffee, mystery baby moods, and trying to remember if you actually brushed your teeth today or merely thought about it very hard.

No matter what this week looked like:
• nursing at the breast.
• pumping around the clock.
• combo feeding.
• one feed at a time.
• celebrating wins.
• crying in the pantry for six minutes.

You are showing up. That matters.

Take a breath tonight. Hydrate.
Rest your shoulders, unclench your jaw.
Your body has carried a lot this week. 💜

Some days breastfeeding feels sweet and bonding.
Some days you’re counting minutes until the next nap while reheating the same cup of coffee for the third time. Tiny dictator behavior from someone who can’t hold their own head up straight yet. Remarkable species, honestly.

Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve support, rest, and someone reminding you that you don’t have to earn being cared for too.

You’re doing an incredible job, mama. Even on the days that don’t feel very beautiful. 🤍
