At Island Cove Behavioral Pediatrics, LLC, we know some of the biggest milestones happen in the smallest everyday moments. 💙

Teaching daily living skills like brushing teeth helps build independence, confidence, communication, and tolerance for everyday routines. For our littles, these skills are broken down into small achievable steps using modeling, play, reinforcement, and lots of encouragement along the way. 🪥✨

Today’s focus: tooth brushing!
What may seem like a simple routine can support:
• Following directions
• Tolerating sensory input
• Fine motor skills
• Independence
• Healthy hygiene habits

Every small step matters, and we love celebrating progress with our kiddos every single day. 🫶
