Mr. Kenneth Reddick Sr.’s professional journey is one of excellence, perseverance, and trailblazing leadership.

He became the first African American management trainee and loan administrator for Stockton, Whatley, Davin & Company—an accomplishment that represented both personal achievement and meaningful progress.

His distinguished career also included service with Xerox Corporation, Barnett Banks of Florida, The Gillette Company, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Jacksonville Branch.

Mr. Reddick also embraced entrepreneurship. He and his wife, Larletta Galvin Reddick, owned and operated an Allstate Insurance Agency together.

His career reflects what becomes possible when preparation, integrity, determination, and courage meet opportunity.

Thyroid cancer has become one of the most commonly diagnosed cancer types, particularly among young women. During Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month 2026, we are highlighting the importance of avoiding unnecessary thyroid cancer screening in people without symptoms.
Detecting cancers that would never have caused harm can lead to unnecessary treatment and lifelong consequences for patients. The goal should not be to detect more thyroid cancers but to detect the thyroid cancers that matter those that require treatment and can threaten health.
