Broke out these “bad boys” to work on a recent knee replacement surgery site for a client of mine.

Client has been going to PT regularly since knee surgery … there is still significant swelling and stiffness. Regardless of following all the directions from the PT’s ( 3 of them) that he has seen along with icing after treatments and the exercises they have given him for “self care homework”…. My client is still in pain most days and hasn’t regained the mobility he should have at this stage of his rehabilitation

Today, I took my tool(s) into my own hands and threw the ole Gunny a royal IASTM sports massage “beat down” … let’s just say he was a HAPPY CAMPER afterwards!

Worked all day, crushed it!!
Went and swam 800 meters, crushed it!!
and finished it off with a 3 plus mile run- walk
I’d say we CRUSHED IT!!

Tomorrow is another day to start all over again and CRUSH IT!! 😎👊💥💯🇺🇸

Spent my morning running on the beach! Training doesn’t stop ~ Gotta keep moving, staying loose & limber and focusing on good health for the future!

Now I’m off on a long bike ride - then spending the remainder of the day on the beach soaking up some golden rays!! 🩷

It’s almost here!!! The White Lake Sprint Triathlon is happening on Sunday and I’m ready! I’ve done all that I can to be ready for this ~ I stayed focused on training…. HOWEVER , my coach says that I “avoided” the one discipline that is my “weak link” ( running) 🏃 He’s not wrong lol. I’m not built for running and yes I stayed away from it as much as I could. But I’ll make it a priority for the next one …. PROMISE 😎👊💯💥

Regardless, I’m pretty happy with my training leading up to the event ~ thank you to all of my teammates who helped me and supported me through it all ❤️

What a blast 💥 and fun experience with my fellow WARRIORS!!

Not only are we AMAZING MASSAGE THERAPIST’s but we are ATHLETES as well and regardless of our ages, we got out there and gave it our all!! We embraced all the obstacles with 💯 percent conviction- but I’m gonna tell you that my 2 besties are SAVAGE !! The extra weight they carried, the extra weight they pulled, just AMAZING ~ Love them!! They were so inspiring and kept me moving…. Even when my little legs struggled at times - they were right there for me ❤️

What’s next ladies????

Today was the last HARD training day that I will have before my Sprint Triathlon next weekend!

I’m not going to lie- I am EXTREMELY SORE from yesterday’s Girls Mud Run with and - we “killed it”… and had so much fun!!

But getting up this morning I chose my training instead of my “brain” making excuses for me… I showed up for ME!

I also want to say Thank you to my coach for your guidance and training plans 😎👊💯🔥

Now I’m going to rest & relax for the remainder of the day!! I’m pretty sure I deserve it!
