Sometimes, before we examine how others have treated us, we must ask God to examine our own hearts. Love is more than words. Love is demonstrated through our actions, compassion, patience, and kindness.

People may misunderstand or reject you, but never forget that God loves you. Keep moving forward, protect your peace, and allow God to correct what needs to be changed within you.

Check your heart. Examine yourself. Choose love. 💜

My weight loss journey has been one of the most challenging journeys of my life.
There were days when the scale went up and down, and I became discouraged because it seemed like I had stopped losing weight. But today, I can honestly say that it is working, and it is working for my good.
Everything I have gone through along the way has taught me the true meaning of perseverance. The struggle became real, but so did the lessons. As of today, I am grateful to say that I am losing the weight and getting closer to my goal. I still have a little more to go before reaching the expectations my doctors have set for my health, but I am making progress.
Normally, I would not share this picture. Throughout my life, I have faced bullying, teasing, judgment, and hurtful comments. The pain, discouragement, and challenges I endured contributed to weight gain and struggles that I carried for years. Some parts of that journey I choose to keep private, but what I do want to share is this:
Challenges are not meant to destroy us. They are meant to build us, guide us, strengthen us, and give us a better perspective on life.
As I continue on this journey, I am filled with gratitude. I am honored that the Father has chosen me for this new chapter. Every pound lost is more than a number. It is a reminder that healing, growth, and transformation are possible.
I also want to share something that has helped me tremendously during this season. I have been reading Hannah's Anointing: Birthing the Promises of God by Apostle Connie Strickland. This book has been an incredible instrument in helping me navigate this journey. Its message of faith, promise, perseverance, and trusting God's timing has encouraged me more than words can express.
I absolutely love this book, and I highly recommend it. If you are believing God for a promise, waiting on His timing, or seeking encouragement during a difficult season, this book may be the tool you need.
Stay tuned. The journey is not over yet.
