For those with health struggles: I always say it’s a blessing in disguise. Your body communicated that something was wrong, and in turn after working to relieve symptoms from a root cause, you become a healthier you: body, mind, and soul. I spent years thinking I was doing everything right.

Early workouts, eating well, successful job.

But I was exhausted, disconnected, and running on fumes. I had no idea there was another way.

What I was missing wasn’t another habit or a better routine. It was a relationship with my own body and allowing softness, emotions, and slowing down.

That’s why I created Rooted. Because so many women are living the way I was: capable, accomplished, yet completely depleted.

Many modern day women live this way. We are conditioned to be productive, to hustle, earn our worth. And it’s deeply showing in our bodies.

The most common thing I see among women who come to me with gut and hormone symptoms is chronic stress.

And chronic stress is the driver for long term chronic conditions. That’s why chronic diseases are steadily increasing yet healthcare is more advanced than ever.

This isn’t about adding more to your already busy life. It’s about living a life that truly supports and replenishes you so you can show up as a calm, grounded you.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about creating safety and presence.

We don’t want complicated- that’s only going to cause more overwhelm.

Survival mode doesn’t just deplete your energy. Often it shows as irritability, anxiety, and even impacts hormones and digestion.

It also shows in how you show up as a partner, mom, friend. Because when everyday is the same cycle of overwhelm, with no connection with your body, it radiates to your external world.

As a functional health practitioner, stress is the ultimate root cause. Whether you are simply exhausted or desire to be more present and connected to your body, Rooted is for you.

Survival mode is sneaky.

You quietly adapt over time and these things seemed completely normal.

Once you’re on the other side though you realize how deep in it you were though.

Here they are:

✅Needing wine to unwind every night.

✅Constantly reading the room and managing everyone else’s emotions.

✅Staying busy so I never had to sit with my feelings.

✅Either an energy drink every afternoon or a cup of coffee just to stay awake on the commute home

✅Thinking about everyone else’s needs before my own (especially at work).

✅Calling myself “high functioning” while secretly running on stress hormones.

The problem is that survival mode eventually shows in your body: exhaustion, inflammation, hormone imbalance. Long term this looks like autoimmune conditions and other chronic conditions.

This is exactly why I created Rooted.

Not another wellness program that gives you more to do, but a space to finally slow down, reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and learn what it feels like to live from a place of safety instead of survival.

It’s about becoming the version of you who no longer has to white knuckle her way through life. The version of you who feels calm, connected, and present.
