Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology of North Florida

To my patients, parents, friends and colleagues,
As you may have heard by the email sent from my company, Womens Care, my pediatric gynecology practice is closing as of February 29, 2024. I have been asked to provide care in another capacity, and I will be going back to delivering babies as an OB hospitalist outside of Jacksonville. I have taken care of women and girls in Jacksonville since 1999, and it makes me sad, and it is so difficult to leave my patients of over 2 decades. For pediatric patients, I am working with Wolfson Children's Hospital and Nemours Childrens Clinic in hopes to be able to continue to provide care. ACOG condemns today’s Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson as a destructive setback for ob-gyns and patients. However, our resolve is unwavering, and we’ll continue to support all people who struggle against laws and regulations that interfere with the patient–physician relationship and block access to essential health care.

Respecting and honoring your truth

If you would like to spend tome with family and friends, please get vaccinated for Covid-19 ASAP.
It is free, and accessible (check CVS, Publix, Walgreens, etc) and it is reasonably as safe as any other vaccine. Florida, and especially St Johns County are very low on vaccination rates and it shows. 98% of our hospitalized Covid patients are unvaccinated.
