I’ve seen birth from both sides.
As an L&D nurse.
And as a mom.
My last birth changed the way I think about birth preparation.
Not because my birth plan failed.
But because I realized a birth plan can only prepare you for so much.
Every labor is different.
Every baby is different.
And some of the biggest decisions happen when you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, in pain, or hearing information you’ve never heard before.
The truth is, most women already know what an epidural is.
They’ve heard of Pitocin.
They’ve read about inductions.
But when labor takes an unexpected turn, many are left trying to sort through fear, social media opinions, and random internet comments while making decisions in real time.
Women deserve better than that.
They deserve evidence-based information before they’re in the middle of contractions.
They deserve to understand common interventions, common complications, and the conversations that may happen when birth doesn’t go according to plan.
That’s why I’ve spent months building something I wish every pregnant woman had before labor.
Something created from both my experience as a labor nurse and my experience as a mother.
And it’s almost here
If you’re pregnant, save this.
If you know a pregnant mama, send it to her.
