UPDATE:

Noah has lost 10lbs so his specialist changed his feeding regimen & schedule to help him maintain proper weight.
Since Noah's surgery, we have been able to eliminate 3 of his routine medications!
Noah's surgeon says Noah is healing well and that his stitches around his stoma should dissolve withing the next 6 weeks or so.

OVERALL:

Noah has improved energy amd has had zero unplanned hospital visits since his surgery in August.
He is have some minor struggles but is showing improvement in some areas which I'm so grateful for!

PLEASE CONTINUE PRAYERS FOR NOAH AND THANK YOU!

Noah had His Ileostomy surgery August 12th. This whole time I have been back & forth with 1st DME supplier & after 3 separate shipments- they still couldn't get his ostomy supplies correct. Switched DME suppliers yesterday- placed an order yesterday and they shipped out today for delivery tomorrow! All is 2 days the 2nd DME supplier was able to get things done in a timely manner and correctly!
So frustrating not having the propper supplies for Noah this whole 2 weeks!

Noah is enjoying his morning popsicle! We wish every1 a happy and wonderful Saturday!

It takes alot of supplies for an Ileostomy bag change! I will do it a million times just for my little guy to feel better! I'm already seeing a difference in Noah's energy and also the swelling hes had in his stomach for almost 2 yrs has been alleviated! This surgery is life changing for Noah & Im so grateful to Noah's specialist & surgeon for taking such good care of him! Now its my turn to take over & change his bag!

NOAH (& I) made it back home yesterday evening! The surgeon & GI doctor on Noahs team agreed he was making great improvements, had minimal pain managed by tylenol/motrin and is healing well so they allowed NOAH to be discharged! NOAH has a home nurse 12 hrs a day, plus I manage the other 12 hrs, so he will have 24/7 monitoring and if there are any concerning changes, he will be brought back immediately to his specialty hospital!
Please continue prayers as we not only have a new routine and medication regimen due to the Ileostomy but NOAH is still healing as well!

Thank you for all that have reached out, prayed for us/with us, came to see NOAH and have been a support as NOAH goes through all of this!
