We were saddened to learn of the passing of a former employee, Beverly Arvidson.

Bev joined The Resource Center in 2003 and spent more than a decade with us as a Nurse Manager in our Residential Division, overseeing the care provided to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During her time at TRC, she established close relationships with co-workers and with the people living in our homes.

After a long career as a nurse, Bev retired from TRC in 2014 to focus on being a loving, doting and actively involved grandmother.

We extend our condolences to Bev’s family and wish them strength as they grieve her passing. Visit Bev's online obituary to read more about her, learn the details of her visitation and funeral, and leave a tribute or memory.

We are deeply saddened to share news of the passing of a former longtime employee, William Bradley.

Bill joined The Resource Center in 1976 and spent 38 years working in our Dunkirk manufacturing facility, where he retired as Production Supervisor. He was a kind man who supported workers with disabilities to perform at their best level.

Some of our employees who worked with Bill shared their memories of him:

“It was always a pleasure to work with Bill. He taught me so much and he understood me. Bill always gave me a chance to advance on my jobs that I worked on and to try and learn more things.” – Phyllis L.

“Bill was a good boss and will be sadly missed.” – Chris R.

“I’m saddened that Bill passed, my condolences to the Bradley family. He was a good, hard worker and a good supervisor and a good friend. We used to talk a lot, and my prayers are with the family.” - Ray Z.

“It was always fun working with Bill. He was such a nice, caring guy, and he will be sadly missed.” – Beth R.

You can read more about Bill and leave a tribute by visiting his online obituary at https://www.larsontimkofuneralhome.com/memorials/william-bradley/5741685/.

🎙💋Our most flamboyantly fabulous fund-raiser is the annual Lip Sync Battle. Contestants – many wearing glamorous attire – battle it out to see who will be crowned the Lip Sync Champion.

💰Money raised through the Lip Sync Battle benefits the Mark Pacheco WOW (Working on Wonders) Fund, one of The Resource Center funds managed by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. The WOW Fund was established to memorialize Mark’s life and his many contributions to TRC and to the community at large. Mark was a TRC employee who died in 2010. The WOW Fund’s purpose is to make wishes and dreams come true for people with disabilities by providing funds to enable them to enjoy events or experiences they couldn’t otherwise.

📍Join us on October 16, 2026 @ The Celeron Legion to see who will be crowned this year's Lip Sync Champion!

😍 Special thanks to Filling the Gap, Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union, Kinetic Internet, and Fenton Mobility Products for sponsoring our events as Corporate Partners.
