We’ve been driving around all day donating 102 backpacks to multiple schools and programs! Thank you everyone who participated in our back to school drive! It’s been our best year yet! HEY EVERYONE…..ITS AUGTOBER…..you know what that means BACK TO SCHOOL BACKPACK DRIVE….this is Metanoias second year doing it and Aaron Childs 10th year! Rules are listed in the first picture! Every artist in the shop is participating! So that being said let’s Get to getting and make sure no kid in our community goes with out so he or she can get the best education they can! Last year we donated over 65 back packs to local schools and programs, SO LETS KICK THAT RECORDS ASS! It is with gratitude and appreciation to the community and everyone who hung out with us and made yesterday one of our best Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin fundraisers we’ve had yet. Our goal was to top last years and we did just that. This was our third year doing this.
Our first year we raised around $1500.
Our second year we raised $2180.
This year we raised $2349. With the addition of paying for sweet Rubys adoption fees and an additional $1000 we donated, the total came to $3549! We absolutely smashed it.
Every artist was selfless in their efforts to make this happen. We would like to thank everyone who participated and came to help raise money for a great cause. Animals are helpless for themselves and we must take care of them. They need us just as much as we need them. Pets are in our lives for only a short period of time yet we are their whole lives.
