DreamCatchers came about from a dream.
I have always inherently known that horses hold the power to change lives. I had experienced it in myself, and I had seen it in my own daughters.
When we began DreamCatchers, I was fulfilling the words my grandfather imparted in a dream: my horses are a gift, and I am to share them with others.
This September, I’m going back to those roots.
Teen Horse Connection is a return to the heart of that dream — simply sharing my horses with teenagers who need the gifts they have to offer.
Teen Horse Connection is available to anyone ages 13–19 at a very affordable rate, with some scholarships available.
This is one-on-one time with Buttercup, and with Freebird if she chooses to join us. There may be structured work, or there may not. Sometimes the best thing a horse can offer is simply the opportunity to slow down, breathe, connect, and be present.
There is no riding. This isn’t deep coaching, although coaching is available if the need arises.
It is simply time with a horse who has something to give.
And perhaps, in that quiet space, a teenager might discover something they didn’t know they needed.
