We are incredibly honored to be named the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for September!

This recognition means so much because it is voted on by our fellow Chamber members and community businesses. At Good Samaritan Health & Wellness Center, we are proud to serve the people of Pickens County and work alongside so many wonderful community partners.

A huge thank you to the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce and everyone who took the time to support and recognize Good Sam. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our community, caring for our neighbors, and making a difference—one patient at a time.

Congratulations to our entire Good Sam team! This honor belongs to each of you!

📚✨ Happy Dolly Day! ✨📚

Today is Dolly Day: “Bookin’ 9–5” at Pickens County Junior High School, and our Dragon Care team was excited to join in the fun! 💕📖

The team dressed up as what Dolly Parton means to them—celebrating her incredible spirit of kindness, generosity, and love of literacy. They also brought gently used books to donate or exchange, helping spread the joy of reading to students in our community.

We are so proud of our Dragon Care team for participating and helping make a difference, one book at a time! ❤️🐉📚

Pictured with their book donations:
📚 June Ash, Office Manager
📚 Michael Christian, Nurse Practitioner

Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us that a good book can open a whole new world! 💕

🐉📚 Back-to-School Germs Are Here!

Can you believe school has been back in session for almost a month already?! Time flies—and unfortunately, so do those back-to-school germs! 🤧🦠

Help keep our students, teachers, and families healthy with a few simple reminders:

🧼 Wash those hands often! Use soap and water whenever possible, especially before eating and after using the restroom. Hand sanitizer is a great option when soap and water aren’t available.

And remember—Dragon Care is here to help!
Our Dragon Care School-Based Health Center provides telemedicine services to Pickens County Schools students and staff, making it easier to get the care you need without leaving campus.

Let’s work together to keep our Dragons healthy, happy, and ready to learn! 🐉💚
